Canadian Children's Authors and Illustrators Support Refugees

Author/editor Sarah Harvey and author Robin Stevenson launched a fundraising campaign for Syrian refugee relief this weekend, and I think it’s fair to say that it’s gone viral – they raised over $10,000 in less than 72 hours, including a hefty donation from Kenneth Oppel and have surpassed their goal set of $20,000. Here’s the link to the fundraiser where they are soliciting donations for Doctors Without Borders.
