The Guardian. A couple of British libraries are experimenting with lending out a "living book" for an hour - an actual person that would talk to patrons about their own personal experiences. In the examples they cite, a blind woman talks about how she performs her daily tasks, a female vicar answers questions about sexual abstention, or a Muslim woman provides information about her religion.
