THE LOVE SONGS OF W.E.B. DU BOIS by Honorée Fanonne Jeffers has just been announced as the next Oprah’s Book Club selection!

I was very happy to hear that one of my Summer Dewey Diva picks - The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois, by Honorée Fanonne Jeffers- was just selected by Oprah Winfrey as the September pick for her book club! 

This debut novel is a multigenerational saga that traces the roots of an American family from arriving on a slave ship to modern times. Full of familial drama, deep humor, personal discovery, and sweeping sorrow, this beautifully written novel will keep you turning pages late into the night, needing more.

Fall webinars are now open for registration!

The Dewey Divas and Dudes are back with another webinar series presenting our top recommended titles for Canadian libraries. We're thrilled to be able to share more of the must-have titles and hidden gems that library staff can confidently recommend to readers.

Join us for these two-hour webinars with our publisher reps booktalking nearly 75 new adult fiction and nonfiction books, and 100 new books for young readers, all publishing between this September and December.

The webinars will be livestreamed over Zoom, and attendees must register through Eventbrite:
