A Chanukah Noel is a lovely story about the childhood of Charlotte Teeple, the Executive Director of the Canadian Children's Book Centre. As a young girl, Charlotte went to live in France in a small town where they didn't celebrate Chanukah. She was quite entranced by all of the Christmas celebrations around her but her family didn't feel it was appropriate to celebrate. Charlotte comes up with a very sweet way to recognize both holidays.
