The Shape of Water: Two Stories, One Idea
The novelization of Guillermo del Toro's newest film, The Shape of Water, a collaboration written by the iconic filmmaker and novelist Daniel Kraus, is so much more than a typical adaptation. Born from Kraus' lifelong idea, both the film and novel tell the story of a mute woman and imprisoned, mute creature falling in love in distinctly different ways.
